Admission Requirements

Forest Heights Lodge (the Lodge) serves boys between 8-14 years of age (at admission) with behavioral and emotional dysregulation issues. Admissions are based upon availability and appropriateness for treatment in our program. Our rolling admission process enables admissions to be arranged any time throughout the calendar year.

The Lodge is a small facility; all our students live together in our main residence. Because of this, we cannot admit students with the following issues:

  • Conduct Disorder
  • Extreme Violent Aggression
  • Extensive Substance Abuse History
  • Fire Setting
  • Sexual Acting Out
  • Acute Psychosis
  • IQ Below 80
  • Physical or medical needs requiring 24 hour nursing care or support
